About us

Created by a lawyer with a passion for all things pretty, Voditta was founded with the intention of allowing us to diversify and elevate our everyday style through simple, affordable, and versatile options. Designed for women who want to look polished without overthinking it, Voditta makes it easy to refresh familiar pieces and add personality to the outfits we wear on repeat.

The name Voditta is a homage to my own grandmother (“Vó” meaning grandma in Portuguese (my mother tongue), and Ditta, short for her name, Benedita). Vó Ditta was born and raised in a small village in Brazil, where she married young and raised four children.

Despite a humble life, Vó Ditta was always an entrepreneur at heart. She contributed to the household income by selling cakes, designing and producing dresses for her daughters and granddaughters, and, at one point, even opening her own shoe shop! Her creativity, resourcefulness, and love of beautiful things are at the heart of Voditta—proof that style doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to be meaningful.
